Cash settlement at mediation. Plaintiff was a fifty four (54) year old grandmother of two who moved from New York after retiring from the New York prison system where she worked as a guard. She was struck head on by another car driving the wrong way on a one-way street. She suffered an aggravation of pre-existing asymptomatic neck, shoulder and knee conditions which ultimately required cervical fusion surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery and arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
