Plaintiff's decedent (father) was forty-six (46) year truck driver from Jacksonville, Florida who was basically crushed to death between his trailer and another truck driver's tractor as he stood between the trucks, attempting to open his trailer doors at a receiver's warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. He had multiple broken bones including a fractured pelvis, fracture femur and fractured ribs. He survived approximately ninety (90) minutes before he died at Grady Memorial.
